I’ve had a love of the natural world for as long as I can remember and the creative expression of personal encounters is a fundamental part of who I am. My paintings in acrylic and watercolour are expressive with bold colours and rhythmic brushstrokes. I believe that capturing those fleeting moments enhances our experience of nature and my artwork aims to emphasise what connects us as living creatures.
I began working in stained glass over ten years ago, using traditional copper foil, applique, fusing, mosaic and leading techniques, and I’ve been totally hooked ever since. I can completely indulge my love of colour with this wonderful medium in both realistic and abstract pieces, always striving to find new ways to present these traditional skills for people to enjoy in their homes.
